On October 18, 2025, as part of the 54th Republican freestyle and Women's Wrestling Tournament for the prizes of the akim of the Zhitikarinsky district, dedicated to the memory of Hero of the Soviet Union Egor Andreevich Khachin, the museum staff organized a thematic exhibition from the museum's funds.

The exhibition featured photographs, documents and personal belongings telling about the life and military exploits of E.A. Khachin, as well as materials about the development of the sports movement and the formation of wrestling in the Zhitikarinsky district.

The exposition aroused great interest among the participants and guests of the tournament, became an important element of the patriotic and historical-educational direction of the event, emphasizing the connection of generations and the importance of sports in the education of youth.
